At 12 weeks old, we have 3 Labradoodles left in this litter. Call about a price reduction on them! We have 2 black females and 1 yellow male. The black females have fleece coats; one is bigger and one is smaller. The yellow male has a straighter, but fun and crazy coat. Here we are at 3 weeks!!! We are so strong, up walking on all fours and being thorough entertainment for our baby K. :-) 2 of us are sold, but 9 of us want to be your forever friend!
I am a little black girl. I have a straighter coat than some of my siblings. I may enjoy up a wavy/straight.

I am a little girl with a wavy fleecy/wooly coat. I would be good if you are worried about allergies. Here I am again in the picture below.

I'm another black girl (yes, there are 5 of us). Look how strong I am!

I'm the lone black male left for sale! I am one of the biggest and surely will be as big as my dad, 65 pounds.

I'm the wooly little blonde girl. I am the smallest in the bunch, maybe taking after Grandpa Romeo, 45lbs. I would be great in an allergy home!

I am the other blonde girl, with a much striaghter wavey hair. I am not much bigger than my blonde sis.

I am the lone blonde male for sale. I am super mellow and love to snuggle. See my straighter wave coat.

***Coats- Wooly (like a poodle), Fleece (a nice wave), Straight (most like a lab); wooly won't shed, fleece is much less than a lab- my f1 females do shed but my f1b male barely sheds and they both have a fleece coat. These little guys are a 40/60 mix so I am hoping they are as nonshedding as dad but with plenty of lab personality in them! (only 25% is not enough for me, and 50% gives too much shedding).

Having Fun at 2 weeks! Eyes and ears are opening. They are getting up and walking instead of crawling. They love piling up on each other. These are our wonderful puppies and their current owner, baby K. :) These are 2 females. The one on the left looks to be wooly and doesn't miss a meal. They are cuddled and loved all the time.

Our 2 yellow males. They were the most laid back and snuggly during the photo shoot. They will be fleece.

Sweet little girls - the caramel is the smallest of the litter and the curliest. Her grandpa was 45 lbs, just like her Aunt Greta. I am guessing she will be built like them. The lighter girl is a bit bigger and more fleece. Huck, our f1b dad is fleece but sheds much less than our f1 fleece girls. Haircoats of these guys are so interesting!

These adorable little guys are pictured at 3 days old. They have been to the vet for dewclaws and tails docked. The vet thought they looked great and were very strong. Thanks what we like to hear! :-) This pile of doodles are the 6 black pups for sale (one is already sold). 1 is a male and 5 are females. The hair coats will vary between fleece and wooly, but it is hard to tell at this point.

These are the two yellow males. One is a light color and one is more caramel.

Both these pictures are my little yellow girls. The caramel is more wavy, but the light girl has a black nose that makes her adorable!

Huck and Goldie are the proud parents of 11 generational labradoodles. Huck is F1b. Goldie is F1. The goal of this cross is to provide less shedding for allergy suffers yet provide more lab in the mix than a straigh f1b to f1b. Both parents provide wonderful non hyper fun loving personalities. The 11 puppies are blacks and yellows- no chocolates :-(. We have males and females in both. I will have pictures of them soon!

Everyone is growing and having lots of fun here at Journey Creek! Our new guy, Huck is an awesome f1b choc. doodle. He is around 65 pounds and is a great friendly and fun loving dog. Flossy and Gretta (both f1) are our black doodles that will be mommas. First is Gretta. She is my little lady. She is a small 45 lb frame and is very loyal to "her boys", my children. During our time in the leaves, she loved me petting and loving on her until the boys went down to the creek. Then, she looked at as if to say, "I must go watch them" and left. I love it! Flossy is the other picture and is the bigger female at 60 lbs. She is super friendly and loves attention. She is very "go with the flow". We just love both personalities. Goldie, our other f1 female, was not with us for our "photo shoot" in the leaves with my boys today, but I will have some pictures of her soon. She is much like Flossy in that she is very friendly and mild mannered. We are looking at a litter of puppies the end of December, putting them for adoption the end of February. Then, we will have a summer litter as well. They will be our first generational doodles crossing the f1b (very hypoallergenic) to the f1 (a better ration of lab/poodle) to bring you some fantastic puppies at only $600.

If you are new to doodles, here is some information I found when getting started that was helpful to me...When I was first getting started, I purchased a book from Big R... Labradoodle by Miriam Fields-Babineau. All this information is taken from the book. I would highly reccomend it.

A labradoodle is a great family dog breed, incorporating the wonderful family Labrador Retriever with the intelligent, sensitive, low shedding Poodle to create a 'teddy bear' type pet. Origins can be traced to a need for an allergen reduced guide/assistance dog. "The combination of Labrador Retriever and Poodle is an attractive one. Pairing the two breed offers a non-allergenic, intelligent dog that is good with people of all ages, loves to work and has stamina, ability and desire to aid the disabled, and do so is a precise manner. A Labradoodle can be a fabulous dog, provided he is in a loving home that offers apporpriate care, training and exercies (p19)."

Other positives:
~social, easily accept other dogs
~regarded among the most intelligent breeds (I have seen this in action at a dog obediance class! Wow!)
~Coat protects them from extreme temperatures
~Loyal
~Don't tend to have sex-specific temperment traits
~Loves positive reinforcement and human contact

Potential Downfalls
~If not trained properly, they can 'outfox' their owners.
~If not exercised, can seem a handful...not a couch potato dog

A Labradoodles coat can range from straight, to wavy to curly. The first coat is most like a Lab and will have the most shedding. The wavy or "fleece" coat is a single coat that is soft and curly and will shed minimally. The final coat, the "wooly" coat is like that of pure bred Poodle, offering a non-shedding coat. Hair on all coats is from 4 to 6 inches.

The puppies are now very active! They are enjoying visits into the house and the entire pen of their mama! We have introduced them to puppy formula and softened puppy food, which they devour with glee! In the picture, you will see some wet faces. They enjoy cleaning each other after the meal. This greatly helps out the p0or mama who feeds 11 little puppies! This litter has very much more of the blocky lab head than my previous litters. I, personally, love it! There are no puppies showing the wooly coat, only fleece wavy. They are also beginning to potty train themselves, using their box for sleeping and outside of the box for potty training.

Our poodle carries some white in his black, and here is our one puppy who got a "tuxedo"! It's too cute! A few other puppies have just a hint (and I literally mean, just one toe amount) of white.

The puppies have their eyes and ears open. They are beginning to steady themselves on all four legs and do a bit of playing. However, much time is still spent napping and eating! Even a few minutes of a "photo shoot" had the chocolate puppy sound asleep in minutes!

Our dogs are part of our family. They stay in my husband's heated workshop and have full access into 1/2 acre fenced area at all times. Momma is an elglish style 65 pound AKC Labrador Retriever. She is very laid back and loving. Below her is our 45 pound AKC Standard Poodle. He is not a large Poodle, but I suspect he has bigger parents, as all the pups tend hit the Lab. weight. He is very loving with a great prance!!

Here is what some of our previous puppy owner's have to say...
"He walks well on a Easy Leader for us. He has a great personality. He truly is a lover...He is so smart. His mom and dad must be pretty smart too. We trained him to ring a bell to go outside and he picked that right up and does it all the time. If we tell him to go get his toy he knows just what to do and does it. We love him and are so proud of him."

"Columbo is AMAZING. He is so friendly and loving and is a very good listener. We play a lot of catch and he loves to swim. We take him with us wherever we go. Just took him to the vet this past Tuesday and he got a clean bill of health."

Meet Goldie...and news

Meet our 6 month old doodle, Goldie. She is awesome!!!!! (all tomboy...loving the creek, the woods, rough housing with our lab, chewing on sticks, playing with the kittens, giving high fives, and loving on our boys)

However, it looks like we didn't have luck with summer puppies. The females didn't get bred. I am so sorry to all you who are waiting for your little bundle of joy :-(. Let me know if I can help you locate a puppy this summer, otherwise I will do everything I can do provide you with a puppy this winter. We will be planning and praying for two healthy litters. Thanks again to all you who have put your faith in our puppies to be your life long companion! We can't enough thanks for the wonderful home you are providing for them.

Here is Tucker at 10 weeks. He is truly one of the best dogs! He plays beautifully with our little female, his sister. He loves my two little boys and is generally very gentle with them. He rarely barks, loves his tummy rubbed, and looks and acts mostly like the terrific labrador personality. He will shed but it won't be like a full blood lab.

Here are the two puppies that are left for sale. The one on the right is a darker color. The one on the left is a lighter cream. It appears that their hair will look something like the older doodle I posted before this. They are loving puppy food and water. Mom stills comes in once a day to feed and check on them. They are balls of fun!

Here is a picture of the puppies current home. We just put it up this past summer. They love it and have plenty of room to play, especially when my little ones ride trikes and the puppies scamper after them! The dogs have runs out the back, and this summer we are fencing in an acre for regular exercise. Other than that, they enjoy the woods when we are out with them.

Our boys have really been enjoying the puppies. We now only have 3 without reserves. 2yellow males and 1 black male. I have really enjoyed meeting the owners of the puppies. It is so comforting to know the puppies will be loved and well taken care of.

The puppies are doing great. They are up and about, playing and having fun exploring and meeting their daddy. However, they continue to be very docile in comparison to my last litter. I am getting ready to introduce soft food. They appear to have fleece coats, except one may have straight. He will look the most like a lab. It feels more coarse like a poodle, so I wonder how much he will shed?

Just wanted to say the puppies are doing excellent! Meg is a very good mom to them; keeping them warm, cleaned, and well fed. The puppies opened their eyes and ears this week! Things are still blurry, but they look so much cuter with their little eyes. Most of them have gotten strong enough to walk a bit on their legs. We look for big strides in this area this week! As far as their coats, they still appear to be fleece; some more than others. We may even have a straight one if you prefer that look in a doodle. If you want a nice selection to choose from, please contact us soon. A black male and a yellow male are spoken for, as well as the yellow female; we also have had several more inquiries. $150 deposit will hold one for you. They will be 6 weeks on Feb. 20th and can go home then as long as they are eating, drinking and doing well.

Despite this extreme frigid weather, the pups are doing great! Meg is a very good mom, almost two good, not needing any help from me. The black puppies are 2 boys and 1 girl and I can't tell them apart. The yellows are 3 males and 1 female. You can see the puppy at the bottom of the screen is a carmel color and at least double the size of the rest. A $150.00 deposit will hold a puppy for you. They will be perfect for spring and summer weather!

The puppies are doing great! They have been eating soft

food for a little less than a week now. They love it! We feed only meat based dog food; Purina ONE or Purina Pro Plan. It costs more per bag, but the dogs don't need as much because it is made with quality products, not filler. Their personalities are really coming out, as they like to play. They also seem to be keeping the fleece labradoodle coat... a great low/non shedding coat with less care than the poodles!

SOLD to Indiana! Meet the first born (1:40pm). It is hard to tell by pictures, but he is the biggest.

Number 2 was born at 1:55pm and is the only all black one.SOLD to Indiana! Number 3 was born at 2:14pm and is the smallest guy.SOLD to Indiana! Four entered at 2:45pm and is our sweet and ONLY girl. Tuxedo is not too bashfull but it sure is a good picture of his white marking on his chest. He was born at 4:00pm.
This little one has just a bit of white on his back paw; born at 4:50pm.

SOLD to Indiana! The yellow male was born at 6:15pm. Note: they are all around the same size, except the biggest and smallest as noted.

This little male has the most white markings. He has some on his feet, chest, and mouth. He was born at 8:45pm

Our final one isn't showing it off, but he does have some whit on his paws and chest. He is our lucky one, as the very tired Hallie had him at 11:00pm and needed help getting him cleaned and stimulated.

At 2 weeks, our puppies appear to have the fleece coat. As they grow, it will become more clear. I will have more pictures of these great Christmas presents soon!

The puppies are doing GREAT!! They have doubled in size and are starting to try to walk on all four instead of crawl. Their ears are just beginning to open and I noticed one yellow one had his eyes just beginning to open. They had their declaws removed last week, and the vet was please with them. As you can tell, they are well socialized, as our 2 year can't get enough of them.

Hallie & Romeo's 9 Puppies

Proud Papa is Romeo, our standard poodle stud. He is a great dog. He carries the parti gene, so 3 of his black puppies are 'dressed' with a white 'tie' and white tips on their back feet.

Hallie is the busy first time mom, caring for 9 hungry, growing puppies. She is a wonderful family dog...Perfect with our 2 and 1 year old sons.Meet the new additions!!!! We have 8 males and 1 female. She is a little blonde beauty. The males consist of 2 chocolate, 1 blonde, and 5 black-3 dressed with a hint of white (see above). They are pictured here at 1 day old. They are exctied to make 9 lucky families very happy for Christmas!
